Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly decided to keep Scott McTominay in his first-team squad.
McTominay has only played a bit-part role for United for much of this season, but the Scot has recently impressed when deputising for Nemanja Matic and Ander Herrera.
There had been the possibility of McTominay being allowed to leave on loan in the summer, but according to The Sun, that may now not be the case.
The report claims that Solskjaer has already spoken to the 22-year-old to reassure him that he will remain in his plans for the next campaign.
McTominay has made a total of 11 starts and seven substitute outings in all competitions this season, with seven of his appearances in the first XI coming since February 24.
