Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer news and rumours, including Abdul Fatawu to Leicester City, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Saudi Arabia and Mathys Tel's future.

Premier League new boys Leicester City have confirmed the permanent signing of 20-year-old winger Abdul Fatawu from Sporting Lisbon.

The Ghana international was a key cog in Enzo Maresca's system throughout the 2023-24 campaign, registering seven goals and 13 assists from 43 games during a successful loan spell.

Leicester possessed an option to make Fatawu's stay permanent for a reported €17m (£14.3m), and the Foxes unsurprisingly triggered the option before confirming that the player had received international clearance to rejoin the Foxes.

"I feel amazing. It's so good to be back and I'm just back to focus again for next season. I feel so much motivation to be in the Premier League," the 2004-born attacker told Foxes Hub. "It's something new to me. I'm going to go hard for that, with the team.

"I can't wait to see [my team-mates]. I've missed them so much. They are like a family now. I didn't think I'd miss some of them, but when I went away, I was really missing them! I can't wait to see them."

Fatawu has signed a five-year contract with Leicester until the summer of 2029 and leaves Sporting having made just 12 appearances for the senior side, registering one assist.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 'close' to Saudi Arabia move

From a player seeking to make his mark in the Premier League to one who already has done, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is said to be on the verge of joining Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadsiah.

The former Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona striker rediscovered his golden touch with Ligue 1 giants Marseille last season, coming up with an eye-catching 30 goals and 11 assists in 51 matches in all tournaments.

Aubameyang still has two years left to run on his contract with Les Olympiens, but according to Sky Sports News, he will now become the latest high-profile name to move to the Middle East.

Al-Qadsiah - who were promoted to the Saudi Pro League for the upcoming campaign - are supposedly hoping to wrap up Aubameyang's capture within the next 48 hours after the 35-year-old informed Marseille of his desire to leave.

Roberto De Zerbi's side were determined to keep hold of Aubameyang, having anticipated a struggle to secure a replacement up front, but the Gabon talisman has already agreed a two-year deal with Al-Qadsiah.

A fee still needs to be agreed with Marseille, who could soften the blow by concluding a £26.7m deal for Manchester United's Mason Greenwood.

Bayern Munich's Mathys Tel stance 'revealed' amid Premier League interest

At the other end of the attacking experience scale, Bayern Munich supposedly have no intention of parting ways with young striker Mathys Tel, despite serious interest from the Premier League.

The 19-year-old had to accept a backup role behind Harry Kane, Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane last season but still managed a respectable 10 goals and six assists from 41 appearances.

Tel's potential and versatility had reportedly attracted the attention of Chelsea and Manchester United, but Bayern are under little pressure to sell the 2005-born starlet, who signed a new deal until 2029 back in March.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Bayern are not planning to entertain any offers for Tel in the current transfer window, and the player himself is happy to continue working under Vincent Kompany.

Despite only making six Bundesliga starts last season, the former Rennes starlet is apparently viewed as an integral part of Bayern's long-term project, especially as Sane and Gnabry's long-term futures are slightly uncertain.

Tel was named in France's preliminary squad for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, but Bayern ultimately refused to release him for the upcoming tournament.

Portsmouth 'planning official bid' for Norwich City 20-year-old

Sticking with the theme of fledgling attackers, Championship returnees Portsmouth are reportedly set to make an official offer for Norwich City prospect Abu Kamara, who spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Fratton Park.

The 20-year-old had already made an impression at Under-21 level with the Canaries, scoring 13 goals in 15 Premier League 2 matches in 2022-23, and he blossomed under the tutelage of John Mousinho last season.

Kamara scored 10 goals and set up 11 more in 52 games across all competitions, playing in all 46 League One matches as the 2008 FA Cup winners stormed to the third-tier title.

Kamara is now in the final year of his Carrow Road contract, and according to Football Insider, Portsmouth are expected to submit a formal proposal in the near future.

Norwich are reportedly reluctant to let the winger leave, as they believe that he has an incredibly bright future at the club, but their arm could be twisted by a "significant" offer.

Kamara came through the Norwich youth system but has made a mere three appearances for the first team, all of which came off the bench in the 2022-23 Championship season.
