AC Milan have reportedly had a loan bid for Marouane Fellaini turned down by Manchester United.
It is believed that the Serie A outfit do not currently have the funds to sign the Belgium international on a permanent basis, so instead they approached their Premier League counterparts with a temporary offer.
However, according to both Corriere della Sera and La Repubblica, the Red Devils rejected the proposal, partly because it would have required them to pay part of the 28-year-old's wages.
The report adds that while United may consider transfer offers for Fellaini, they have no intention of loaning out the midfielder.
Fellaini joined United from Everton in September 2013 for £27.5m.
