MK Dons have announced that Darren Potter has signed a fresh two-year deal at the club.
The 28-year-old midfielder, who joined from Sheffield Wednesday in 2011, will remain with the League One outfit until the summer of 2016.
Dons boss Karl Robinson has admitted that he is pleased to have secured Potter's services.
"I'm over the moon. He's been consistently one of our best performers over the past three seasons," Robinson told the club's official website.
"Every team has an integral part of the group and I'm sure that the players would agree when I say that he's huge for us and the development of our young players.
"He really enjoys Milton Keynes and that's down to the connection he has with the city, the people and the fans which has obviously helped his decision."
Potter has made 137 appearances for the Dons.
