Newcastle United forward Adam Campbell has returned to Tyneside after prematurely ending his loan spell at Carlisle United.
The 18-year-old joined the Cumbrians two weeks ago on a one-month deal.
However, following consultation between Newcastle and Carlisle on Friday, the decision was made to send Campbell back to his parent club.
Campbell made just one appearance - as a substitute in the 4-0 defeat to Coventry - during his time with the League One outfit.
He has also made five substitute appearances for the Magpies during his fledgling career.
