Norwich City sign former Celtic striker Teemu Pukki

Championship side Norwich City sign former Celtic striker and Finland international Teemu Pukki on a free transfer from Danish side Brondby.

Norwich City have announced the signing of Teemu Pukki on a free transfer from Danish side Brondby.

The 28-year-old Finland international joins the Championship side on a three-year contract, which will officially come into effect on July 1.

Pukki played for Scottish Premiership giants Celtic from August 2013 to July 2015, scoring nine goals in 37 matches.

"Teemu is a good fit to our ideas because he is a technical player with smart movements," Norwich boss Daniel Farke told the official club site.

"He also has lots of speed. Wherever he plays, he was always able to be there with goals and assists."

Pukki, who has also played for Schalke 04 and Sevilla, has made 64 appearances for his country, scoring 12 goals.
