Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman believes that the performance of Benik Afobe was key as Wolverhampton Wanderers secured a 2-1 victory at the City Ground this afternoon.
The striker scored the opening goal seconds after the break to help Wolves on their way to a win which takes them into the playoff places.
Freedman, however, believes that his side did enough to take something from the game.
"Our commitment was fantastic," he told BBC Radio Nottingham. "Benik Afobe was the difference between the sides.
"We had opportunities to win the game, but we didn't have the finishing touch."
Forest are 11 points adrift of the top six following the defeat.
