Nottingham Forest have reportedly identified Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas as a potential January signing.
When Forest went on a relentless spree of purchasing players in the summer on the back of promotion to the Premier League, they acquired the services of Dean Henderson and Wayne Hennessey.
The former, on loan from Manchester United, has played all but one of Forest's 19 top-flight fixtures, only missing out against his parent club over Christmas.
However, the England international sustained a thigh injury at the back end of Saturday's 2-0 victory over East Midlands rivals Leicester City.
The 25-year-old was forced to continue due to Forest using their allotted three windows to make a substitution, but Henderson is now expected to spend time on the sidelines.

According to The Athletic, Henderson faces the prospect of remaining absent until the end of February, leaving Steve Cooper in a position to make a decision regarding his goalkeepers.
While it is plausible that Hennessey could deputise in the short term, the report suggests that consideration is being given to making a bid for Navas.
Since 2014, the Costa Rica legend has spent his time representing either Real Madrid or PSG, making a combined total of 269 appearances in all competitions.
Now 36 years of age, his game time for PSG has dried up, his solitary outing this season coming in a recent Coupe de France tie with Chateauroux.

Although Navas recently played all three matches for his country at the World Cup, he is currently in line to be provided with minimal action for the remainder of 2022-23.
Navas still has 18 months remaining on his contract at Parc des Princes, leaving PSG in a strong position if they decide that they wish to retain the services of the veteran.
With regards to any potential switch to the City Ground, Navas may also consider what his role may be upon the return of Henderson.
The report adds that Al-Nassr could also emerge as an option for Navas if he becomes attracted to spending the latter stages of his career in the Middle East.
Sergio Rico is currently third choice at PSG and could be called upon to become the new number two if Navas leaves the Ligue 1 leaders over the next two weeks.
