Nottingham Forest allow striker David McGoldrick to continue training with Ipswich Town ahead of his move to Portman Road.

David McGoldrick will not return to Nottingham Forest, despite the fact that his loan spell with Ipswich Town has come to an end.

The 25-year-old joined the Tractor Boys in January on a 93-day basis, having spent the first few months of the campaign on loan with Coventry City.

It had been anticipated that he would finish the season with Forest, but they have allowed him to continue to train with Ipswich until the end of the campaign.

He will sign a permanent contract at Portman Road once his deal with Forest expires in the summer.
