Notts County manager Shaun Derry has said that he wants to be the "changing factor" at the club.
County are bottom of League One and lost 1-0 to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.
However, Derry is confident that he made the right choice in taking his first management job, even if he has yet to win his first match in charge.
"This is exactly the direction I wanted to go in," Derry told The Telegraph.
"Whatever happens at Notts County, this club needs stability. I know exactly what the history of this club has been. I hope it changes and I hope I am the changing factor."
Notts County are four points from safety and have won three league matches.
