Sports Mole looks at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Friday's Ligue 1 clash with Lille at the Parc des Princes.

Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino is expected to make a few changes to his starting XI, as he looks to return to winning ways in Ligue 1 during Friday evening's clash with reigning champions Lille.

The hosts currently sit comfortably at the top of the table, with a seven-point gap back to Lens in second, but have lost one and drawn one of their most recent three games.

They will also be without star midfielder Marco Verratti for this match, as he is expected to be out for around four weeks after suffering a knock in their last game against Marseille.

The Italian was due to be suspended anyway and, whatever the cause, his absence will finally allow former Liverpool man Georginio Wijnaldum back into the starting XI.

Another suspension for Pochettino to deal with is Achraf Hakimi, who received a red card in the Marseille game - Thilo Kehrer looks the most likely replacement at right-back, joining Marquinhos, Presnel Kimpembe and Nuno Mendes in a back four.

Idrissa Gueye will line up alongside Wijnaldum in the centre of the park, with the formidable trio of Neymar, Lionel Messi and Angel di Maria in front of them and Kylian Mbappe leading the line, assuming he passes a pre-match evaluation regarding an ear infection.

If he does not, he will join Sergio Rico (finger), Leandro Paredes (muscle) and Sergio Ramos (calf) on the sidelines, with the former Real Madrid centre-back still waiting to make his debut for the Paris club.

Paris Saint-Germain possible starting lineup: Navas; Kehrer, Marquinhos, Kimpembe, Mendes; Wijnaldum, Gueye; Messi, Neymar, Di Maria; Mbappe.
