PSV Eindhoven's Erik Pieters has reportedly been hospitalised after smashing a window in anger, having been shown a red card in their game this evening.
The 24-year-old was sent off in the 67th minute of their match against PEC Zwolle for a serious foul against an opponent.
On his way to the dressing room, the left-back punched a window, causing it to smash and cut his hand.
Several media outlets in Holland have reported that he was taken to hospital on a stretcher.
Pieters was playing his first game for the club in nine months following a series of injury setbacks.
PSV went on to lose the match 3-1.
