Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp concedes that has struggled to sleep since returning to management with the Premier League strugglers.

Harry Redknapp has admitted that he has found getting to sleep difficult ever since he took over as the new manager of Queens Park Rangers.

The 65-year-old was appointed by QPR just over a fortnight ago, with the club rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table and without a win to their name.

Having failed to guide his side to victory in three attempts, Redknapp has revealed that their current predicament is dominating his thoughts at all hours of the day.

"I've got stuff on my mind and it's not been easy [to sleep]. I was sleeping very well two weeks ago until I came back to work. It's more difficult because you're laying there waiting for that alarm clock to go off very early," he told reporters.

"You're thinking what you can do, how you can improve it, what's the best team, who can play where? It's a tough job."

Redknapp's team are currently eight points from safety.
