Tuesday's Champions League predictions including Rangers vs. Malmo

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Tuesday's Champions League fixtures, including Rangers vs. Malmo.

Slavia Prague vs. Ferencvaros (Tuesday, 6.00pm)

Slavia Prague's Abdallah Sima celebrates scoring against Leicester City in the Europa League on February 25, 2021© Reuters

Seeking to bounce back from a demoralising 2-0 defeat in the first leg, Slavia Prague welcome Ferencvaros to the Sinobo Stadium on Tuesday for the second leg of their Champions League third qualifying round tie.

The Hungarian powerhouses, meanwhile, boast a healthy lead in the tie thanks to an own goal from Taras Kacharaba and Ihor Kharatin's penalty in last Wednesday's battle.

We say: Slavia Prague 2-1 Ferencvaros (Ferencvaros win 3-2 on aggregate)

Ferencvaros may be able to boast a stellar recent record away from home, but Slavia Prague - even with no supporters present - have simply swept aside almost every team to step through the Sinobo Stadium doors.

The potential introductions of Sima and Olayinka should help the hosts make the net ripple, but Ferencvaros are not exactly known for any sort of profligacy and will hope to seal progress to the playoff round, despite maybe suffering a defeat on the night.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Sheriff Tiraspol vs. Red Star (Tuesday, 6.00pm)

Sheriff Tiraspol will welcome Red Star Belgrade to Moldova on Tuesday evening for the second leg of their third qualifying round contest in the Champions League.

The clash is delicately poised following a 1-1 draw in the first leg last week, with Lois Diony's effort on the stroke of the interval cancelling out a 33rd-minute goal from Sheriff's Frank Castaneda.

We say: Sheriff Tiraspol 1-2 Red Star Belgrade (Red Star 3-2 on aggregate)

Sheriff demonstrated in the first leg that they are more than capable of matching Red Star, and it is set to be a fascinating battle in the second leg. We are expecting a tight contest once again but have just sided with Red Star to get the job done, recording a 2-1 win on the night to progress to the playoff round.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a draw or an away win.

Shakhtar vs. Genk (Tuesday, 6.30pm)

After a second-half comeback last week, Shakhtar Donetsk seek to finish the job against Genk at Kiev's Olympiyskiy Stadium, in Tuesday's second leg of their Champions League third qualifying round tie.

Bringing a one-goal lead back from Belgium, the hosts will be confident of reaching the playoff round later this month - with a return to the group stage in sight.

We say: Shakhtar Donetsk 2-1 Genk (Shakhtar win 4-2 on aggregate)

Vital years of European experience should get Shakhtar across the line, as they take one step closer to the hallowed group stage.

Genk already start on the back foot, and the prospect of taking the game to their hosts is not particularly alluring, given the Ukrainian side's ability to pick teams apart with fast attacking raids.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Midtjylland vs. PSV (Tuesday, 7.00pm)

PSV Eindhoven coach Roger Schmidt in the Europa League on February 18, 2021© Reuters

PSV Eindhoven are in a commanding position in their Champions League third qualifying round contest with FC Midtjylland courtesy of a 3-0 victory in the first leg of the clash last week.

The Dutch giants will now be looking to finish the job and book their spot in the playoff round of the 2021-22 competition when they travel to MCH Arena on Tuesday night.

We say: FC Midtjylland 1-2 PSV Eindhoven (PSV 5-1 on aggregate)

Midtjylland are certainly capable of making this a much tougher contest for PSV, but the damage was done in the first leg, and we are finding it impossible to back the Danish side to turn the tie around. PSV's form has led us to predict a 2-1 away win, which would see them progress 5-1 on aggregate.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Monaco vs. Sparta Prague (Tuesday, 7.00pm)

Monaco manager Niko Kovac pictured in February 2021© Reuters

Monaco will be looking to book their spot in the playoff round of the 2021-22 Champions League when they welcome Sparta Prague for the second leg of their third qualifying round contest on Tuesday.

The Ligue 1 outfit are in a strong position to progress to the next stage, having recorded a 2-0 victory in the first leg of the tie last week courtesy of goals from Aurelien Tchouameni and Kevin Volland.

We say: Monaco 2-1 Sparta Prague (Monaco 4-1 on aggregate)

Sparta have a huge task on their hands when it comes to this contest, and we are finding it incredibly difficult to back them to pick up the result that they need. Monaco were impressive in the first leg, and we fancy the Ligue 1 side to also win the second leg to comfortably progress into the playoff round.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Ludogorets vs. Olympiacos (Tuesday, 7.00pm)

Level at 1-1 from the first leg of their Champions League third qualifying round contest, Ludogorets Razgrad and Olympiacos will lock horns in the second leg of the tie in Bulgaria on Tuesday night.

Ludogorets took the lead in the 50th minute of the reverse match through Kiril Despodov, only for Aguibou Camara to score an 87th-minute equaliser for Olympiacos at Stadio Georgios Karaiskaki.

We say: Ludogorets Razgrad 0-1 Olympiacos (Olympiacos 2-1 on aggregate)

This is a very, very difficult match to call for a number of reasons, and it would not be a surprise to see this contest go all the way to penalties. Olympiacos have only conceded once in their three Champions League games this term, though, and we fancy the Greek side to keep another clean sheet and ultimately progress courtesy of a one-goal win.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Young Boys vs. CFR Cluj (Tuesday, 7.30pm)

Young Boys' Jordan Siebatcheu celebrates scoring their fourth goal in the Europa League on February 18, 2021© Reuters

Just reward for their attacking endeavour and persistence last week, Young Boys return to Swiss soil level with CFR Cluj, as the pair battle it out for a place in the Champions League playoffs.

The return leg of their third qualifying round tie on Tuesday is perfectly poised after YB's late equaliser in Romania, so the national champions of their respective nations will go all out to progress at the Wankdorf Stadium.

We say: Young Boys 2-0 CFR Cluj (Young Boys win 3-1 on aggregate)

Last Tuesday's late equaliser could be pivotal for Young Boys, as they are now well-placed to get on the front foot at home - neatly fitting their favoured playing style.

Cluj are certainly in a good run of form, but that can be ended by a side they have failed to overcome across three matches during the past few months, and they are set to slump into the Europa League playoffs.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Benfica vs. Spartak Moscow (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

Boasting a 2-0 lead from the first leg in Russia, Benfica welcome Spartak Moscow to the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon on Tuesday seeking a straightforward route into the next stage of the Champions League.

Second-half strikes from Rafa Silva and Gilberto saw Jorge Jesus's men claim a healthy advantage from last Wednesday's battle, with the winner of this contest due to face PSV Eindhoven or Midtjylland in the playoff round.

We say: Benfica 2-1 Spartak Moscow (Benfica win 4-1 on aggregate)

Expect Spartak Moscow to demonstrate more of an attacking edge in the second leg as Vitoria seeks revenge over his former club, who have already demonstrated their European pedigree.

Yaremchuk is under pressure to emulate Seferovic up top for the hosts, but boosted by a stellar record at home, we can only back Benfica to comfortably progress.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Legia vs. Dinamo Zagreb (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

With the scores level after last week's first leg, Dinamo Zagreb visit Legia Warsaw at Stadion Wojska Polskiego on Tuesday, looking to seal progress through the penultimate stage of the Champions League qualifiers.

Though a closely contested opening encounter has left this third qualifying round tie in the balance, the Croatian champions are expecting to secure a fourth group stage participation in seven years.

We say: Legia Warsaw 2-2 Dinamo Zagreb (3-3 on aggregate; Dinamo win on penalties)

Though Dinamo are always a threat in the final third and boast great individual quality up front, Legia have been near-invincible on home soil this year and can certainly breach the visitors' defence at least once.

This well-matched tie could therefore go all the way, with penalties perhaps required to decide which continental competition each side turns out in during the coming weeks.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Rangers vs. Malmo (Tuesday, 8.00pm)

With last week's last-minute goal giving Rangers a fighting chance of pipping Malmo to a place in the Champions League playoffs, the Scottish champions now welcome their Swedish counterparts to Ibrox on Tuesday.

Both teams will face the full-throated roar of the notorious home support, as the Glasgow giants have been given the go-ahead for a full-capacity fixture.

We say: Rangers 1-1 Malmo (Malmo win 3-2 on aggregate)

A rare blank at the weekend aside, Malmo have started their season with a flood of goals, so there should be plenty of final-third action to get a capacity crowd off their feet on Tuesday night.

As conceding in the first leg will prove less of a concern now that the away goals rule is no more, Malmo can take advantage of natural desperation in the Rangers camp if they do not break through early on. That means a goal on the break could be enough to seal the aggregate win for the Swedes and condemn their hosts to another Europa League campaign.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
