Rangers chairman Craig Whyte says that he has spoken with two of the three potential bidders for the club but has had no offers for his shares.

Rangers chairman Craig Whyte has said that he has spoken with two of the three potential bidders for the struggling Glasgow club.

The 40-year-old however admitted that he has had no offers for his shares in the Ibrox club.

The administrator for Rangers is currently weighing up the offers and is due to choose a preferred bidder soon.

"I've said I won't stand in the way of a takeover and that remains my position," Whyte told BBC Scotland.

"I am assuming that a preferred bidder can be announced subject to a deal being done with me."

American tycoon Bill Miller, a Far East group led by Singapore-based businessman Bill Ng and The Blue Knights, led by former director Paul Murray, are hoping to secure control of the club.
