Reading have extended their winning streak to eight games after this afternoon's win over Leicester City at the Madejski.
The home side began well and almost took the lead ten minutes in but Wes Morgan cleared off the line before Sean St Ledger also denied Mikele Leigertwood.
The Royals soon had the lead when Leigertwood fired an unstoppable effort past Kasper Schmeichel from the edge of the area on the quarter-of-an-hour mark.
Visiting Leicester had their fair share of the ball but Adam Federici snuffed out many openings as the first period drew to a close.
Reading looked the more likely to score the second after the break and did move two ahead when Jason Roberts tapped home from close range before Simon Church sealed the points with a header late on.
Danns did pull a consolation goal back for the Foxes in added time but the midfielder's effort will do little to harm Reading's confidence.
The win sees Reading remain third but they are now level with West Ham in second and just three points behind league leaders Southampton while Leicester drop a place to 12th.
