Xabi Alonso: 'We are in a good moment'

Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso praises the team's recent form.

Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso has said that Los Blancos are "going through a good moment".

However, the Spanish international, who was speaking a pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday's Champions League last-16 first-leg tie with Schalke 04, has insisted that the team will "continue to improve".

"We are in good form and competing for all the titles. We want to continue to improve," he told reporters in Germany.

"It's difficult to compare this to other seasons but we are going through a good moment; league leaders and in Copa final."

Madrid are currently top of La Liga by three points.
