Galatasaray midfielder Hamit Altintop has revealed that he intends to show his former side Real Madrid what they were missing when the two clubs meet in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Altintop said that he has no regrets joining Galatasaray and that his new club are the "Barcelona of Turkey".
"I hope to show the Real Madrid fans the true Altintop," he told Marca. "I came to Galatasaray because the club has put a lot of faith in me and I don't regret the decision. I'm enjoying football again and that's priceless for me.
"[I have] no hard feelings to Real or anything like that. I only have good words for the club. I always think positively and there aren't many players in the world who can say they've played for Real Madrid.
"We are a passing team who are very comfortable on the ball. We are the Barcelona of Turkey. However, the best thing about the team is that we use three different systems. At the Bernabeu we will attack. We have a brave manager."
Altintop scored Galatasaray's opener in the second leg against Schalke 04.
