Report: Sergio Ramos to miss Levante clash

A report claims that a calf injury will keep Sergio Ramos out of Real Madrid's La Liga fixture with Levante this weekend.

Sergio Ramos is expected to miss Real Madrid's La Liga fixture with Levante this weekend as the Spaniard recovers from a calf injury.

The centre-back was ruled out of the latest Spain squad with the complaint, but it had been thought that the 28-year-old would return for his club.

However, according to Football Espana, club doctors have advised that the defender should remain on the sidelines for at least the next week.

As a result, Ramos could be rested this weekend in preparation for next week's Champions League clash with Liverpool.

Three days after the Liverpool clash, Los Blancos welcome Barcelona in La Liga.
