James Rodriguez bemoans Luka Modric absence

James Rodriguez admits that Real Madrid will miss Luka Modric, who is facing six weeks on the sidelines with a knee problem.

James Rodriguez has admitted that Real Madrid could suffer without injured teammate Luka Modric in the weeks ahead.

Modric picked up a knee injury in Saturday's 3-1 win over Malaga and it was later revealed that he would miss at least the next six weeks.

James has said that Los Blancos will miss "a great player" during the business end of the campaign.

"We're worried about him," James told Canal Plus. "He's a great player, with a great touch and capable of scoring goals."

Gareth Bale is also on the sidelines for the capital outfit with a calf problem.
