Luka Modric insists that he is "enjoying every moment" at Real Madrid following his summer move from Tottenham.

Luka Modric has insisted that he is "enjoying every moment" at Real Madrid following his summer move from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Croatian international signed a five-year contract with the Spanish giants in August in a deal worth around £33m.

"To play with Real Madrid is something so great," Modric told the club's official website. "They are a huge club, one of the best if not the best in the world. It is a great sensation to play here and I am enjoying every moment.

"Everything about the club is significant and there is a great atmosphere. I am enjoying it much playing for Real Madrid. And we are united. We always have been united and we will be so until the end."

Modric has scored one goal in 18 games for Madrid this season.
