Barcelona have reportedly stepped up their pursuit of Adama Traore after learning that Real Madrid are also interested in the Wolverhampton Wanderers winger.
The 24-year-old's form this season is understood to have attracted the attention of some of Europe's top clubs, with the speedster having scored four goals and created seven more in his 24 Premier League appearances.
Traore began his career at Barcelona but made only four senior appearances for the club before being sold to Aston Villa in 2015.
The Spanish giants are now reportedly lining up a bid to bring him back to Camp Nou, and the Daily Mail claims that they have now accelerated their plans in an attempt to beat arch-rivals Real Madrid to his signature.
Neither club has yet made an official approach for Traore, but both are understood to be interested and the player himself recently admitted that he would be open to a move to either.
Traore is currently contracted to Wolves until 2023, meaning that Nuno Espirito Santo's side would likely command a significant fee if they were to sell the winger this summer.
