Leicester City have reportedly planned an approach for Real Madrid midfielder Isco in the upcoming January transfer window.
Brendan Rodgers's side, who currently sit in 13th spot in the Premier League table, are said to be keen to bolster their squad this season, especially given the uncertainty around Youri Tielemans's contract extension and growing rumours linking James Maddison away from the King Power Stadium.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the Foxes have identified Isco as a prime target for the upcoming transfer window, with Los Blancos reportedly willing to part ways with the Spaniard.
After being linked away from the club over the summer, the 29-year-old remained at the Santiago Bernabeu, but he has started just two La Liga games so far this campaign and is said not to be a part of Carlo Ancelotti's plans going forward.
Since arriving from Malaga in 2013, Isco has made 342 appearances for the Spanish giants, netting 52 goals and contributing 56 assists while adding two La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies to his record.
