Marco Verratti has signed a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain until 2021, his agent Donato Di Campli has announced.
The 23-year-old was recently linked with a move to Real Madrid, who targeted the midfielder after dropping out of the race to sign Paul Pogba.
However, Verratti has opted against succumbing to the lure of the Bernabeu as he is determined to win more honours with the Ligue 1 giants.
While an official announcement is yet to be made, the Italian's representative confirmed on Twitter that his client has put pen to paper on a new deal.
Alongside a picture of Verratti writing his signature, Di Campli tweeted: "And we arrive at the fourth renewal.... signed until 2021."

The midfielder, who has not played since April due to a groin injury, will be working under new manager Unai Emery, who replaced Laurent Blanc in June.
