Pepe, Cristiano Ronaldo return to Madrid

Portuguese pair Pepe and Cristiano Ronaldo both return to Real Madrid following international duty.

Real Madrid pair Pepe and Cristiano Ronaldo have both returned to the Spanish capital from international duty with Portugal.

Both were booked in Portugal's 1-1 draw with Israel on Friday, meaning that neither will be available for their country's World Cup qualifier against Luxemburg on Tuesday.

It has been suggested that Ronaldo deliberately got himself booked so he could return for the playoff round, but the former Manchester United forward has dismissed those claims.

Madrid return to league action at home to Malaga next weekend.
