Giovanni Trapattoni names Irish lineup

Giovanni Trapattoni names a Republic of Ireland team that he says is "90 percent certain" to start against Croatia in their Euro 2012 opener in Poznan on June 10.

Giovanni Trapattoni has named his team for the Republic of Ireland's final Euro 2012 warm-up game against Hungary.

The Italian said that the same team is also "90 percent certain" to line up against Croatia in the Group C opener on June 10.

Shay Given has overcome a knee injury to be named in the starting lineup in Budapest, along with Sunderland defender John O'Shea, who was suffering from an ankle problem.

There is no place for James McClean, with Damien Duff and Aiden McGeady set to operate on either wing, while Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kevin Doyle will partner captain Robbie Keane in attack.

Keith Andrews has been preferred to Darron Gibson in the heart of the midfield.

Full team: Shay Given, John O'Shea, Richard Dunne, Sean St Ledger, Stephen Ward, Damien Duff, Keith Andrews, Glenn Whelan, Aiden McGeady, Robbie Keane, Kevin Doyle.
