Sports Mole previews the Championship clash between Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town.

Sheffield Wednesday host Ipswich Town on Saturday as they look to secure three more points to try to move clear of the Championship relegation zone.

The Owls are currently in 18th place, but they are only three points above safety, and manager Dave Jones will be aware that they cannot afford to lose at home to the Tractor Boys.

Despite failing to record a victory in their past two matches, Wednesday have been in good form and Jones could select the same starting lineup that started the midweek draw with Blackpool.

Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy has headed something of a revival from the Portman Road outfit in the past two months, and they are five points clear of relegation with three games remaining.

They continued their impressive form in midweek with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace, and McCarthy could name the same side that started that game.

Recent form

Sheffield Wednesday: WDWWLD

Ipswich Town: WWDWLW

Possible starting lineups

Sheffield Wednesday: Kirkland; Buxton, Gardner, Llera, Helan; J.Johnson, Pugh, Holden, Prutton, Coke; Howard

Ipswich Town: Loach; Cresswell, Chambers, Stearman, Smith; Edwards, N'daw, Emmanuel-Thomas, Hyam; Murphy, Nouble

Sports Mole says: 1-1
