Spain coach Vicente Del Bosque has revealed that he will look to employ new tactics in order to nullify the threat of Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo on Wednesday evening.
The Spanish defence was hailed for the way that they dealt with the Real Madrid attacker during an encounter between the two nations at the 2010 World Cup.
With that match in mind, Del Bosque has admitted that a similar plan will be put into place for the upcoming Euro 2012 semi-final.
"We will be taking special care of Cristiano Ronaldo," the coach told reporters. "It won't be an individual [marking] thing. There will be permanent help as there was two years ago."
Ronaldo has found the net on three occasions so far at the tournament.
