Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that his side deserved more than a draw against Fiorentina following their 1-1 stalemate at White Hart Lane.
Roberto Soldado fired Spurs ahead in the first leg of the Europa League last-32 tie, but the Italians bagged a vital away goal through Jose Basanta.
"I think we deserved more. We created more chances in the first half and dominated the opening 45 minutes," BBC Sport quotes Pochettino as saying.
"I'm happy with the performance but disappointed with the result. We need to go to Florence to try to win the game and progress."
The second leg will take place at the Stadio Artemio Franchi next week.
