Roberto Soldado relishing Christian Eriksen link-up

Roberto Soldado believes that Christian Eriksen can be the focal point of Tottenham's attack and is relishing playing alongside the Danish playmaker.

Roberto Soldado is looking forward to playing with Christian Eriksen at Tottenham Hotspur as he believes that the Dane can be the linchpin of Spurs' attack.

The £11m arrival from Ajax impressed on his Lillywhites debut against Norwich City on Saturday, playing a part in the build-up to both of Gylfi Sigurdsson's double in a 2-0 home victory at White Hart Lane.

Soldado is amazed by Eriksen's immediate comfort with the English game, and he expects the 21-year-old to benefit the team greatly by providing Tottenham's other forward-minded players with excellent service.

"He is a brilliant player. It's incredible that he has got up to this level already in his first game in English football," Soldado told reporters.

"It's great for him, for the team. He is a player who is capable of improving all of us. He is a player that makes everything look easy and that's good for us.

"He's a player that can support us in everything we do. He can offer us a lot of passes to everyone who plays in attack for Spurs."

Spanish international striker Soldado has scored twice in his first four Premier League games, both from the penalty spot in 1-0 wins over Crystal Palace and Swansea City.
