Mousa Dembele 'on brink of Tottenham Hotspur exit'

A report claims that Mousa Dembele is on the verge of sealing an £11m exit from Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele will reportedly complete an £11m switch to Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan in the coming days.

The 31-year-old admitted last year that he lacks the fitness to be a regular for Tottenham and has not been used since picking up an ankle injury in November.

With Spurs chairman Daniel Levy attempting to trim players from Mauricio Pochettino's squad, BBC Sport claims that Dembele has been given the green light to leave North London six months earlier than planned.

Dembele has made a total of 243 Premier League appearances during his eight-and-a-half-years in English football with Fulham and Tottenham, scoring 12 times.

Netherlands international Vincent Janssen is also understood to be close to departing the North London outfit, who have not made a single signing in 12 months.
