Report: Tottenham Hotspur to launch £10m Saido Berahino bid

West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino will be the subject of a £10m offer from Tottenham Hotspur early in the January transfer window, according to reports.

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to kick the January transfer window off with a £10m bid for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino, according to reports.

The 21-year-old, who has seven Premier League goals this season, has been linked with a move to Spurs for several weeks, but Baggies manager Alan Irvine recently distanced Berahino from a move away from The Hawthorns.

However, Spurs are ready to test Irvine's resolve with an offer of £10m, with West Brom having already lined up Burnley front man Danny Ings as a potential replacement, according to The Telegraph.

Ings is understood to have caught the attention of several clubs with his performances this season, including Southampton and Dutch giants Ajax.
