Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly entered the race to sign Mexico centre-back Hector Moreno as Mauricio Pochettino looks to add his own men to his new squad.
A report in the Daily Mail suggests that Pochettino is keen on the Mexican, having brought him to Espanyol while in charge of the La Liga side.
The 26-year-old is also thought to be admired by Everton, Southampton and Swansea, though the Spanish side are said to want a fee of around £7m for his services.
Moreno impressed for his country in Tuesday night's World Cup draw with Brazil, and with Michael Dawson, Younes Kaboul and Vlad Chiriches all expected to be moved on, the Espanyol man could find himself starter a White Hart Lane.
Tottenham begin their Premier League season on August 16 with a short trip to local rivals West Ham United.
