Tottenham Hotspur are close to agreeing a £25m deal with Fulham for versatile wideman Ryan Sessegnon, according to a report.
Despite having a Champions League final to prepare for, Mauricio Pochettino has already started working with chairman Daniel Levy on possible new recruits.
The Daily Mail claims that Sessegnon, who featured 25 times for relegated Fulham in the Premier League this season, could be the first new signing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 18 months.
Spurs are said to be hopeful of concluding a swift deal, despite Paris Saint-Germain recently showing an interest to complicate matters.
Fulham wanted £40m for Sessegnon, who is comfortable playing anywhere down the left-hand side, but they are happy to find a middle ground with their London rivals to grant the youngster his wish of staying in the top flight.
