Stoke City manager Tony Pulis admits that his side should have scored more than eight league goals this season.

Stoke City manager Tony Pulis has admitted that his side need to improve in the final third of the pitch.

The Potters have scored just eight goals in 10 Premier League matches this season and Pulis has acknowledged that the club's league position has suffered because of their inconsistency in front of goal.

Pulis told reporters: "The stats are very encouraging, apart from in the final third. That's where we've got to improve.

"You never take your foot off the pedal in this division. We could and should have scored more goals in the games so far."

Stoke are currently in 15th place in the Premier League table.
