Mamady Sidibe has said that he wants to be playing regular football regardless of who he plays for.
The Stoke City striker has been on loan at Sheffield Wednesday since November, scoring once in eight appearances.
The 33-year-old told the Sheffield Star: "Of course, I need to play, I have been working hard to get back my fitness and also get back in the squad at Stoke. If I can't be in the squad there, I need to play, I have been out too long to sit watching games.
"All the work I have done has been to get back in the squad at Stoke, but if there is no room for me there, I need to play.
"I don't know what is going to happen. I am here on loan and am doing my best. The future is not in my hands really. The only thing I can do is to play and give my best for Sheffield Wednesday while I am here."
Sidibe's loan spell is due to expire next week.
