Swansea City have announced that Kyle Naughton will miss the rest of the season with ankle ligament damage.
The defender was carried off during Saturday's 3-1 victory over Hull City at the Liberty Stadium following a tackle from David Meyler.
The Hull midfielder received a straight red card for the challenge, while Naughton was taken to hospital with a severely swollen ankle.
"An initial scan on Saturday ruled out a fracture, but a follow up scan last night confirmed ligament damage that will keep the January signing from Spurs out for around six weeks," a statement on Swansea's official website read.
Naughton has made nine appearances for the Swans since joining from Tottenham Hotspur.
