Swansea City held Everton to a goalless draw at the Liberty Stadium in the Premier League this afternoon.
Bafetimbi Gomis and Romelu Lukaku had the best chances of the game, but the major talking point was when Everton were dropped to 10 men after Kevin Mirallas was sent off inside three minutes of stoppage time following a challenge on Modou Barrow.

Goal
Lukasz Fabianski: Had a relatively quiet game as Everton's chances at goal rarely had the final touch needed to trouble the goalkeeper. When the former Arsenal man was called upon, he seemed comfortable in between the sticks. (7/10)
Defence
Kyle Naughton: Skipped down the flanks numerous times when attacking and was able to send in some decent crosses for Bafetimbi Gomis and Andre Ayew. (7/10)
Ashley Williams: Strong as always in the centre of the defence and made some crucial clearances when his team were under wave of attack from their visitors. Cleared off the line to prevent at attempt from Lukaku in the second half. (9/10)
Federico Fernandez: Worked well alongside Williams and was able to stifle Lukaku when the Belgian was on the ball. (7/10)
Neil Taylor: Created plenty of space in attack during the first half, but needed to use his defensive qualities more in the second when Gerard Deulofeu entered the fray. (7/10)
Midfield
Jack Cork: Picked up an early yellow card, but managed to stay composed for the remainder of the game. He also managed to nick possession on occasion in the middle of the park. (7/10)
Gylfi Sigurdsson: The most influential part of his game today was a free kick which clattered into the side netting. Was substituted in the second half following a quiet display. (5/10)
Jonjo Shelvey: Made some decent tackles to win the ball back for his side, and dictated play at times from midfield with long-range passes. (7/10)
Jefferson Montero: Was tasked with taking on Everton's young full-back Tyias Browning and came on top a number of times as he surged down the field. Delivered in some decent crosses and looked lively throughout. (8/10)
Attack
Andre Ayew: The summer arrival had a blistering start to the Premier League season by scoring three goals in August, but it wasn't his day at the Liberty. He struggled to find pockets of space and rarely caused trouble for the goalkeeper (5/10)
Bafetimbi Gomis: Came closest to getting a goal for Swansea and showed decent touches when receiving the ball, but his clinical finish was missing and the service was lacking in the second half. (7/10)
Substitutes
Ki Sung-Yueng: Looked lively when he came on and positioned himself well in the box for crosses. Also defended well when called upon. (6/10)
Eder: Replaced Gomis in the second half, but failed to make an impact as Everton dominated the second half. (3/10)
Modou Barrow: Could not do much to change the result and was on the end of Mirallas's tackle that resulted in the Belgian's dismissal. (3/10)

Tim Howard: Made a few saves throughout the match and looked alert when Swansea were on the attack. (7/10)
Defence
Tyias Browning: Made his Premier League debut for the Toffees and after getting beaten by Montero a few times in the second half, was able to grow into the game as it went on. (6/10)
Phil Jagielka: A reliable display from the captain as he managed to keep Gomis relatively quiet and protected his goalkeeper throughout. (9/10)
John Stones: Put on a man-of-the-match display at the back as he marshalled the defence and rarely looked troubled when one-on-one with his attacking opponents. Calm on the ball and also contributed to Everton's forward plays as he pushed from the back. (9/10)
Brendan Galloway: Looks more and more confident every time he turns out for Everton. This afternoon was no different as he was able to stop Ayew from making an impact on the game. (8/10)
Midfield
Gareth Barry: Picked up a silly yellow card in the first half, but was strong in the middle of the park as he broke up play and delivered some decent through balls. (8/10)
James McCarthy: Worked well alongside Barry in midfield, and while he played a role in numerous attacking plays, he was unable to influence the game as he has before. (6/10)
Ross Barkley: Impressed this afternoon as he always looked to get forward and seems to be relishing his allowance to roam. Always looked dangerous on the attack and was unfortunate not to contribute to a goal. (8/10)
Attack
Arouna Kone: Looked decent on the counter-attack, but went missing as the game went on. He was eventually substituted at the start of the second half. (5/10)
Steven Naismith: After last weekend's hat-trick heroics against Chelsea, the Scotsman was given the nod to start, but he was unable to contribute with a goal this time. He came close with a clean strike, but it went straight into the hands of Fabianski. Struggled to get past Williams. (7/10)
Romelu Lukaku: Had the best chances of the game for Everton, but his final touch wasn't there this afternoon. (6/10)
Substitutes
Gerard Deulofeu: Made a difference when he came on in the second half as he put Swansea on the backfoot a number of times with his tricky feet down the wing. (7/10)
Kevin Mirallas: Got sent off just two minutes after coming onto the field after digging his foot into Barrow's ankle in a challenge for the ball. (0/10)
