David Moyes will reportedly be offered a two-year deal if he keeps West Ham United in the Premier League.

David Moyes will reportedly be rewarded with the offer of a two-year contract should he guarantee West Ham United's survival in the Premier League this season.

The former Manchester United, Everton and Sunderland boss took over at the London Stadium last November on a short-term deal running until the end of the campaign - at a time when the club were in the Premier League relegation zone.

The Hammers have since moved up to 12th but remain just four points above the dropzone in a tight relegation race with 11 teams all still fighting for survival.

In recent weeks it has been suggested that Moyes is unlikely to remain in charge at the club next term, but according to The Express, the Scot will be offered a longer-term deal if he guides them to safety in the coming months.

The newspaper says that the board "have been impressed with his work since taking over" and also claims that Moyes has begun provisional planning for his summer transfer targets.

West Ham last played in the Championship in the 2011-12 season.
