Preview: Wigan Athletic vs. Millwall

Sports Mole previews Wigan Athletic's clash with Millwall in the Championship on Tuesday evening.

Wigan Athletic will be looking to bring their dismal run of form to an end when they host Millwall at the DW Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Uwe Rosler's side, who were tipped to challenge for promotion this season, are currently 19th in the table after failing to win any of their last seven games.

The Latics remain a point outside of the bottom three following their goalless draw with Brentford on Saturday.

Rosler has received a boost this week, though, with captain Emmerson Boyce and Emyr Huws in contention to start against the Lions following injuries.

Ian Holloway's Millwall are in equally poor form, having also failed to secure a win in their last seven league outings.

They had to come from three goals down against Wolverhampton Wanderers at The Den on Saturday, with two late Ricardo Fuller goals rescuing a 3-3 draw.

The result means that the South London outfit are one place and two points above Wigan in the standings.

Holloway named an unchanged lineup against Wolves, but he might be tempted to hand a start to Fuller in Lancashire following his two-goal salvo.

However, the Millwall boss will still be without injured trio Nicky Bailey, Carlos Edwards and Lee Martin.
