The Portuguese forward broke his Premier League duck against Tottenham.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has demanded more goals from Helder Costa.

Portuguese forward Costa finally broke his drought at Wembley on Saturday, tucking away the third goal in Wolves' 3-1 win over Tottenham.

It was the 24-year-old's first Premier League goal of the season and Nuno admitted it had been a long time coming.

"I'm pleased but he has to do more," said Nuno.

"This is the first one and we are 20 games in. He has to do more."

England striker Harry Kane had given Spurs a first-half lead but late strikes from Willy Boly, Raul Jimenez and Costa ensured Wolves signed off on 2018 in style.

Wolves have now taken points off big-hitters Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, Arsenal and Spurs this season, but Nuno insists their mindset will be no different when they host Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

"What we try to do is make the approach the same for every game," he added.

"The opponent doesn't mean anything regarding our approach. We lost points against the other teams.

"We have to go game by game. There's nothing that I hold onto. We take the same care for all our opponents.

"It doesn't matter which team come up in front of you, you play all the games. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, that's the reality of football. We have to be ready for it."

Diogo Jota remains an injury doubt ahead of the Palace game.

The Portuguese forward has missed the last three matches with a hamstring problem.

Winger Adama Traore will be assessed after going off with a minor knock at Tottenham.
