Wolverhampton Wanderers will reportedly reignite their interest in AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie during the January transfer window.
The Premier League side was strongly linked with the Ivorian midfielder this summer, with some reports even claiming that the club was willing to break its transfer record by offering £36m for his services.
However, although there was talk of Milan accepting a late offer from Wolves, it is claimed that Kessie rejected the prospect of moving to Molineux on deadline day.
According to Sky Sports News, Wolves plan to make a fresh bid in January for Kessie, who Milan are keen to move along.
Wolves signed another Milan player over the summer, bringing Patrick Cutrone to the club for a fee of £16.2m and handing him the number 10 shirt.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side, who have reached the Europa League group stages this season, also secured permanent deals for Pedro Neto, Bruno Jordao, Leander Dendoncker and Raul Jimenez over the transfer window.
