Trio sign new Reds deals

Young trio of Ben Tapuai, Dom Shipperley and Rod Davies commit to the Reds.

Ben Tapuai, Dom Shipperley and Rod Davies have all committed to new two-year deals with the Queensland Reds.

The young trio played key roles in the Reds' 2011-12 Super Rugby campaign.

"Despite their young age Ben, Dom and Rod have all produced amazing results in our Rugby program, so it's extremely pleasing to retain their services heading into what will be the peak of their careers," said Reds head coach Ewen McKenzie.

"Our entire squad is voting with their feet and choosing to stay in Queensland and we'll return a more experienced and stronger group next season from the adversity we faced in 2012."

Will Genia, Quade Cooper, Digby Ioane, Ben Lucas and Anthony Faingaa have also recently renewed their contracts with the Reds.
