Toulon head coach Bernard Laporte has insisted that Leigh Halfpenny is going nowhere at the end of the season.
The Wales full-back has been heavily linked with a move back to Britain when his contract expires at the end of the current campaign, with former club Cardiff Blues and Wasps among those credited with an interest.
However, Laporte expects the 27-year-old to stay with the reigning European champions for at least another season.
"He's staying at Toulon. I don't know when he will sign but it should happen," Laporte told AFP.
"He's a good lad, you need some like him in a club. He trains five hours a day."
Halfpenny joined Toulon on a two-year deal in January 2014.
