It started perfectly for the Brit, as he broke Millot in the first game of the match and consolidated it, before breaking again in what was looking like a whitewash.

However, the Frenchman responded with a break of his own. He was unable to hold, though, with Murray breaking back en route to a comfortable opening set.

The second set was a similar story as Murray took it 6-2 also and it was looking every bit as easy for the Scot as his opening-round match.

Millot built up a great deal of momentum to break three times on his way to a 5-1 lead in the third, but an incredible comeback from Murray, who went from set point down to win 23 straight points, saw the Brit into the third round.
