Agency: 'Arsenal forward Lucas Perez is not joining Lazio'

The agency which represents Arsenal forward Lucas Perez says that no discussions have been held with Lazio regarding a potential transfer.

Agency Protio Sport has suggested that no discussions are taking place between Arsenal and Lazio regarding forward Lucas Perez.

The 29-year-old has just spent a season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna, but the Spaniard is now back training with Arsenal after the arrival of new boss Unai Emery.

Lazio have been linked with an approach for Perez, but claims that negotiations are currently being held between both clubs have been rejected.

Protio is quoted by TheLaziali as saying: "It's nothing believable, they invent things. Lucas wants to triumph at Arsenal, he signed there with that intention.

"Lazio is a great team, but Arsenal are also. Lucas is in Singapore with his team preparing for a new season that we wish would be a great season. We have not talked to Lazio for months."

Perez still has two years remaining on his contract at the Emirates Stadium.
