Jose Mourinho: "We will have ups and downs"

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes his side will have both ups and downs throughout their season.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that he expects his side to have both ups and downs throughout the season, as he looks for his squad to mature during his tenure at the club.

The Blues currently find themselves sixth in the Premier League table, having won three games, drawn two and lost one this season.

"We have a lot to improve," said Mourinho to reporters as his side prepare to face Norwich City tomorrow afternoon.

"We will have moments of ups and downs because teams of this profile, with young people, with some people that are not mature, the normal tendency is that performances are not always very stable. We will have our ups and downs for sure. I'm ready for that."

The Blues are still looking to record their first win away from Stamford Bridge this season and will be without the suspended Fernando Torres for tomorrow's game.
