MVV Maastricht's Dutch defender Nick Kuipers is a target for several Championship clubs, according to reports.

Dutch defender Nick Kuipers is attracting interest from a host of Championship clubs, according to reports.

The MVV Maastricht centre-back, who has been likened to compatriot Ron Vlaar, has won praise for his performances in the Eerste Divisie this season.

Derby County, Huddersfield Town, Brighton & Hove Albion and Charlton Athletic are all monitoring the 22-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season, reports Sky Sports News.

Kuipers has made 78 appearances for MVV Maastricht since making his debut for the side in 2010.
