Otto Rehhagel hails "wonderful" Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp

Euro 2004-winning boss Otto Rehhagel expects Jurgen Klopp to have a choice of any job he wants when he eventually leaves Liverpool.

Otto Rehhagel has insisted that "wonderful" Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp can choose any job he wants in world football.

The German lifted the Champions League with the Reds last season and is on course to ending their 30-year wait for top-flight silverware this campaign.

Klopp has been linked with a number of other clubs around the continent, including Bayern Munich in his homeland, but he has another four years to run on his existing deal at Anfield.

Rehhagel, who won Euro 2004 against the odds with Greece, has tipped the Liverpool manager to take on more top jobs when he departs Merseyside.

"Jurgen's career is unique, just wonderful," he told Bild. "I was worried that he would not lose a football game!

"Jurgen can inspire his players - and Liverpool has a lot of money. But he has also made the right choices with the players he has signed.

"I can't say where his career will end. He is still young and he will grow. The English championship is now important to him. He can do anything in the future.

"He could be the national coach, coach at Bayern - anything he wants. All doors are open to him."

Speaking earlier this week, Klopp ruled out ever managing in Serie A due to the language barrier.
