Half-Time Report: Port Vale, Sheffield United all square

Port Vale and Sheffied United play out a goalless half-time draw at Vale Park in League One.

Port Vale and Sheffied United have played out a goalless half-time draw at Vale Park in League One tonight.

The hosts started much the better of both sides and would have gone ahead inside six minutes if not for the upright, as Chris Lines saw his effort cannon off the crossbar.

Micky Adams's men continued to search for the opener as Ben Williamson fired narrowly wide of the post from a Jennison Myrie-Williams ball.

It proved to be the last opportunity of the half as both sides cancelled each other out in the opening 45 minutes.
